This is a personal project. I do not charge a fee to take these photographs, and I cover my own expenses. I am always interested in photographing new people of Japanese descent who were forced into the U.S. internment and prison camps. I am especially interested in people whose stories have unique historical significance. Although this project focuses on people currently living in Santa Clara County, California, I welcome the opportunity to photograph anyone who was included in this regrettable period of American history.
